過去と現在と想像の区別がつかない脳

業務改善ファシリテーターの小田昌敬です。

今日は脳のお話を

タイトルの通り
脳は過去と現在、想像と現実の区別がつかないところがあります。

ちょっと実験をしてみましょう。

あなたが過去に食べたもので
最も酸っぱいものは何ですか？

レモン？
梅干し？
すっぱムーチョ？
黒酢？
シゲキング鳥しおレモンラーメン？
すっぱいレモン？
スーパーレモン？
酸暴すっぱネロ？

あなた史上もっともすっぱい食べ物を想像してください。

そして

それを右手でつまみ口にいれると・・・

想像です。

なのに、口の中に唾液がでていませんか？

現実には、
口にすっぱいものが入っていないにもかかわらず
唾液がでている。

経験した酸味を思い出しただけで
体が反応している証拠です。

このような反応は口に限りません。

私は、
横転一回転
を車でしたことがあり

この時のことを思い出すと
今でも鳥肌が立ちます。

この他にも
ある会社では

上司の姿を見ると
大量に汗をかく
どもってしまう

一度の失敗を叱責されて

本人なりに、理由があったのでしょうが
大きな声で、遮られ
責められ・・・

その日から彼は

その
上司の姿を見ると
大量に汗をかく
どもってしまう

ようになりました。

どもってしまう

ことは、仕事をする上でプラスに働くことは
まったくないと言って良いでしょう。

うまく仕事をしていても

その上司が現れた途端

大量に汗をかく
どもってしまう
手が動かなくなる

ミスが連鎖する

現象が多発しました。

ミスを発生させているのは

この若者でしょうか？

その上司でしょうか？

あなたのその行動や態度は
部下の力を発揮する方向に作用していますか？
