リバウンドのない業務改善の流れ 11　介護と作業

おはようございます。
いて欲しい人が辞めない職場を作る、ファシリテーターの小田昌敬です。

仕事の連携力を高め、効率をあげるうえで、言語の共通理解はとても大切です。

では、
『介護』ってどいう意味なのでしょうか？

色々な方が、定義されてはいますが

介護現場で仕事をしている

「介護」とは、「お年寄りと直接接することだけではなく、見えたり、聞こえたりすることすべて」というとらえ方をおススメしています。

この考え方では、
おむつ交換はもちろん、
気配や足音などがお年寄りに認知されているならば
廊下を歩くことも「介護」に含まれます。

そして、「作業」を「介護」以外のすべての業務と定義すると

「作業」は出来るだけ効率化する
「介護」はゆったりと時間を取る

というシンプルな判断基準になります。

言い換えれば、お年寄りに影響を与える「介護・看護」をゆったりと行うために「作業」を効率化、短時間化するという考え

ここを抑えておくと、ともすれば職員都合になりがちな業務改善などの会議で、お年寄りに我慢を強いたり、悪影響を与えることを避けることができます。

学術的な定義はさておき、判断をシンプルにするために、普段使っている言葉を再定義してはいかがでしょう？

業務改善という名目の元、お年寄りに苦しみを与えていませんか？
